Veterinarian Oath

          Being admitted to the profession of veterinary medicine, I solemnly swear to use my scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society through the protection of animal health and welfare, the prevention and relief of animal suffering, the conservation of animal resources, the promotion of public health, and the advancement of medical knowledge.I will practice my profession conscientiously, with dignity, and in keeping with the principles of veterinary medical ethics.I accept as a lifelong obligation the continual improvement of my professional knowledge and competence.

Gregory Bennett, DVM

Gregory L Bennett D.V.M. graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science. He was then accepted into Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine from which he graduated with honors. His love for small animals led him to the San Juan Animal Hospital in July of 1997. Dr. Bennett married his high school sweetheart, Barbara. They have two children, two dogs and one cat The Bennett's enjoy: fishing, water and snow skiing, their church and good fellowship with their friends.

Dr Guill and Reba

Dr. Carl A. Guill is originally from Sparta, Georgia. He graduated from the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine. May of 2000 Dr. Bennett asked him to join San Juan Animal Hospital as a resident surgeon. Dr Guill and his wife, Judy, live in MacClenny and enjoy family, friends, church, yard work, sports, hunting and fishing. They also have a Jack Russell Terrier named Scout.

Justin O'Keefe, DVM

Justin O'Keefe, DVM

Dr. Justin O’Keefe attended vet school at St. George’s University after earning Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology from the University of Florida. Dr. O’Keefe's special interest in Orthopedic Surgery led him to take the internationally recognized AO Principles of Small Animal Orthopedic Management. Justin enjoys salt water fishing and preparing for the annual Gate River Run. Dr. O'Keefe and his wife live in Mandarin with their 3 daughters and dog, Mace Windu.

Dr. Rena Fulton received her Bachelor’s of Science with emphasis in Animal Biology from the University of Florida in 2005. Dr. Fulton then earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2010 from the University of Florida. She is also certified in small animal acupuncture and received her certification in December of 2010 from the Chi Institute in Reddick, FL. Dr. Fulton currently lives in the Julington Creek area with her husband, son, two daughters,and two dogs Finley and Olive.
